New era of Canary Wharf

New era of Canary Wharf

In partnership with South Quay Plaza

Did you know that Canary Wharf’s past as a bankers only land is long gone and now it’s one of the best places to live in London?

Last week I spent an evening like a lucky South Quay Plaza resident and I am still in awe. A new development by Berkeley Group on Isle of Dogs has everything you could wish for: stunning views over London, resident-only gym, pool, roof gardens and coworking bar on the 56th floor! The buzzing food scene, relaxing waterfront walks, public events like The Winter Lights Festival a few weeks ago and so much more!

Take the DLR and explore Canary Wharf’s rich foodie scene with me! I posted about my two favourites here before - Feels Like June and Hawksmoor - but did you know that now you can enjoy iconic Dishoom breakfast naan here too?! And Mercato Metropolitano in Wood Wharf serves up a tasty Italian feast of pastries & coffee, fresh pasta, pizza and deli.
Needless to say that all these places (and many more!) are at the doorstep of South Quay Plaza residents. Those living there can book the dining room on the 56th floor, with catering from local favourites – perfect for a brunch party (breakfast, lunch and dinner too!) – just one of the resident’s perks. Are you ready to move in?

Finally, you don’t need to compromise on open spaces and relaxing corners to escape to, when choosing an apartment-with-a-view like this one. Homeowners have the expansive terrace gardens on the 56th floor complete with a BBQ space to enjoy, as well as the relaxing riverside grounds below. For some indoor escape, a cinema room and scenic co-working space by day and bar by night, tick every box for residents at South Quay Plaza. All in Zone 2, isn’t it a dream?
